secau opened the CISL (Critical Infrastructure Security Laboratory) earlier in the year to investigate the security issues surrounding critical infrastructures. The laboratory activity for the next 6 months will be focussed around SCADA security with a particular emphasis on intrusion detection. The research will be using open source tools such as SNORT, WireShark and other to develop solutions and also test efficacy of these.
