Nara is currently the Edith Cowan University Professor of Security and Risk. His current research interest includes the area of security and business and security management in the new post 911 environment. Professor Srinivasan has been responsible for forming a number of collaborative partnerships between Western Australian universities and international organisations, such as the International Civil Aviation Authority, USAID World Food Program, Asian Development Bank, World Bank and Singapore Airport Terminal Services.

Bill is IBM Chair (Information Security) and has experience in government and the finance and oil industries as well as academia. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Intelligence Officers and the American Society for Industrial Security. He was co-founder of the Journal of Information Warfare. His research interests are security and deception, information operations, information terrorism and the use of systems thinking in security problems.

Craig is Head of the School of Computer and Information Science and has 20 years experience in the IT industry. He is a world respected researcher in digital forensics, network security and intrusion detection. He has relationships with industry partners such as British Telecom and law enforcement agencies around Australia as a result of his leadership in the digital forensics area. He has a prolific research output record. He has produced a number of government reports based on his research.

David is a senior lecturer in Security Science and spent 13 years in the Royal Air Force (UK) as a Development Engineer in Defence Radar and Display systems. In addition, David has been employed within commercial security as a technical consultant and as the West Australian Defence Force Facilities Contract Manager. David’s research interests are in risk management, CCTV, and security and knowledge categorisation.

Trish is a senior lecturer in the School of Computer and Information Science. Her expertise is in medical information security and networking having spent 17 years in the medical and pharmacy computing industry. Her research interests are in medical security, digital forensics and security education. Her current projects include developing governance models for securing medical information and practical assistance for implementing effective security of medical information.

Andrew is a lecturer in the School of Computer and Information Science. His expertise is in mobile and network security and computer forensics. His current research interests include the investigation of hard drive erasure and erasure tools, and development of national competency standards for digital forensic practitioners. Other research interests include grid computing, digital forensics (BitTorrent forensics), 802.11 wireless network attacks, and locating / tracking RFID tags.

Jeff is a lecturer in Security Science and served in the Australian Army for 20 years as an officer in the Australian Intelligence Corps specialising in the areas of counterintelligence and security. His post military career has included appointments as; the Ashton Mining Security Manager, the Security Intelligence Specialist at Argyle Diamonds and international consulting. He is active in the Australian Institute of Professional Intelligence Officers, the Risk Management Institute of Australasia and the American Society Industrial Security. Jeff’s research interests include: CCTV human factors, intelligence evaluation and the intelligence, security and risk intersection.

Geoff is a senior lecturer and physicist with research interests in nuclear security. He is investigating the security implications of an expanding nuclear industry in Australia, management of risk arising from nuclear materials, and he maintains a keen interest in education.
